daily diminishing (day 3)

This is a souvenir statue, about 5” tall, from the Honolulu Academy of Arts. It is modeled on a terra cotta warrior dating from 210 BCE, found in the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang’s, tomb. The original figures are about 6’ tall. In 1995, I went to Honolulu with my then, husband, who was there on a business trip. Later, we divorced. I kept this statue which reminds me of Honolulu. The warrior is a representation of strength and protection.
