daily diminishing (day 88)

Joy Division was one of those bands whose music and lyrics reflected what I was feeling in my late teens/early twenties. We felt what Ian Curtis was feeling leading up to his suicide and we followed Joy Division into New Order, which continued to reflect our feelings about the world for us in the 1980s. This sticker is particularly hard to give up. It represents so many memories of a time, of people and so much more that cannot be put into words. I would never go back there, but I’m glad I was there.
