daily diminishing (day 120)

In the course of my work for the Archives of American Art/Smithsonian Institution, I corresponded with artists or relatives of artists, many of whom I’d never heard of, and some of whom I had. In January 1995, in the process of securing images of John Cale and Edie Sedgwick for the Archives’ Journal, I corresponded with Billy Name, of Andy Warhol fame. I’ve kept the letter he sent, with xerox copies of the two photographs.
